In recent blog post, Google announced that starting for 21st April, Google will consider mobile friendly or responsive websites as ranking signal and rank them better in search results.
Google has given around two months time to webmasters so that they can convert or test their website for mobiles. Around 80% people use mobile to surf internet and retrieve data, so it has become more important that you optimize and convert your website to make it responsive for various devices.

Google has provided two tools to test your website for mobiles
- Mobile Friendly Test– You can use this tool to check your website for mobile friendly, it will show screen shot of your website as how Google sees that in mobile view, for example MegriSoft returns following:
- Mobile Usability Report – This tool provide mobile usability factors like fonts sizes, content size, touch elements etc, you can use this tool if you have verified your website
App Indexing for Google Search
Google has also introduced App indexing, if your website has APP and that APP is installed on end user, Google will also provide links to APP pages with search results of your website
